PRICING & INVESTMENT

How much does flooring installation cost?

The honest answer: it depends. Flooring installation costs vary based on the material you choose, the square footage of your project, the condition of your subfloor, and any special requirements (stairs, complex patterns, furniture moving, etc.).

That said, here are general ranges to help you plan:

• Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP): $8–$14 per sq ft installed

• Engineered Hardwood: $10–$18+ per sq ft installed

• Solid Hardwood: $12–$20+ per sq ft installed

• Premium Carpet: $6–$15 per sq ft installed (including padding)

• Porcelain/Ceramic Tile: $10–$18 per sq ft installed

• Natural Stone/Marble Tile: $15–$25+ per sq ft installed

• Floor Removal & Subfloor Prep: $2–$5 per sq ft (if needed)

These ranges include materials, labor, standard transitions, and cleanup. We provide detailed, line-item pricing during your consultation — so you know exactly what you're investing before you commit.

No hidden fees. No surprise upcharges. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Every project begins with a complimentary in-home consultation (valued at $500). During this visit, we assess your space, understand your vision, bring material samples, take measurements, and provide a detailed proposal — typically within 48 hours.

You're also welcome to visit our showroom at 1093 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta for an initial consultation. Either way, there's zero obligation and absolutely no pressure. If we're not the right fit, no hard feelings.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We've partnered with Synchrony and GreenSky to offer flexible financing options for qualified buyers, including low-interest and deferred-interest plans. This allows you to invest in premium flooring and spread payments over a comfortable timeline. We'll walk you through all available financing options during your consultation so you can make the best decision for your budget.

Why are you more expensive than [big-box store / discount installer]?

Great question — and one we're happy to answer transparently.

Big-box stores and discount installers often use lower-grade materials, subcontracted labor, and a volume-based business model. Their goal is to install as many floors as possible, as quickly as possible, at the lowest possible cost.

Our goal is different: we deliver the highest-quality materials, installed by our own trained and certified team, with a concierge-level experience that protects your home and guarantees your satisfaction.

Here's what you get with Carpet Uno:

• Premium, designer-grade materials (not builder-grade)

• Our own trained installation team of 20+ (no subcontractors)

• In-home consultation with curated samples — or browse our dedicated showroom

• Advanced dust containment and home protection

• Lifetime craftsmanship warranty

• A dedicated project manager for your job

• Post-installation care guide and ongoing support

• Flexible financing through Synchrony and GreenSky

Our clients — over 1,200 of them — consistently tell us it's the best money they've ever spent on their home. Our 4.9-star Google rating across 110+ reviews confirms it.

Is there a minimum project size?

While we don't have a strict minimum, most of our residential projects are 200+ square feet. We're happy to discuss your specific project — even if it's a single room — during a consultation to determine if we're the right fit.

MATERIALS & PRODUCTS

What flooring materials do you install?

We specialize in five primary categories:

• Hardwood Flooring — Solid and engineered, in species including white oak, red oak, maple, walnut, hickory, and exotic options

• Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) — Waterproof, scratch-resistant, realistic wood-look planks from premium manufacturers

• Premium Carpet — Plush, stain-resistant, designer-grade carpet in a range of textures and fibers

• Tile — Porcelain, ceramic, marble, travertine, and natural stone for floors, walls, and showers

• Commercial Flooring — LVT, carpet tile, and commercial-grade hard surface for business environments

We also handle complete floor removal and subfloor preparation for any project.

What brands do you carry?

We partner with the industry's most respected manufacturers — brands trusted by luxury builders and interior designers for their quality, durability, and design range. We only source materials that meet our rigorous standards for:

• Realistic aesthetics

• Long-term durability

• Manufacturer warranty coverage

• Environmental responsibility

The best way to explore our brand and product options is to visit our showroom at 1093 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, where you can see and feel hundreds of samples in person.

Can I supply my own materials?

In most cases, we prefer to source the materials ourselves — this ensures quality control, proper warranty coverage, and that the product is appropriate for your specific installation conditions.

However, if you've already purchased materials or have a specific product in mind, we're happy to discuss whether we can install it. We'll inspect the product, verify it meets our installation standards, and provide an honest assessment before proceeding.

Note: Material warranty terms may differ when client-supplied materials are used.

How do I choose between hardwood and LVP?

Both are excellent choices — it comes down to your priorities:

Choose Hardwood if:

• You want the authentic look and feel of real wood

• You value the natural warmth and character of genuine grain

• You're focused on long-term home value (hardwood is a top ROI renovation)

• Your space has stable humidity and low moisture exposure

Choose LVP if:

• You need 100% waterproof flooring (kitchens, bathrooms, basements)

• You have kids, pets, or high-traffic areas

• You want the look of hardwood with virtually zero maintenance

• Budget is a primary consideration (LVP is typically 30-40% less than hardwood)

The best way to decide? Visit our showroom at 1093 Cobb Pkwy SE or schedule an in-home consultation.

Is LVP really waterproof?

Yes — the premium LVP we install is 100% waterproof. The core material will not swell, warp, or deteriorate when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, and any space where moisture is a concern.

However, it's important to note that while the planks themselves are waterproof, standing water should still be cleaned up promptly to prevent it from seeping between seams and affecting the subfloor beneath.

Can I see samples before making a decision?

Absolutely — and we make it easy:

Option 1: Visit Our Showroom

Browse hundreds of premium samples across all flooring categories at our fully stocked showroom: 1093 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. Our team is on-site Monday–Saturday, 8am–6pm to answer questions and offer guidance.

Option 2: In-Home Consultation

We'll bring a curated selection of samples directly to your home, so you can see how each option looks in your actual space, with your lighting and alongside your existing décor.

Both options are complimentary, and our team will never pressure you into a decision.

INSTALLATION PROCESS

How long does installation take?

Timeline depends on the scope of your project:

• Single room (up to 300 sq ft): Typically 1 day

• Multiple rooms (500–1,200 sq ft): 2–3 days

• Whole home (1,500–3,000 sq ft): 3–5 days

• Large estates or commercial spaces: 1–2 weeks

These timelines include material prep, installation, transitions, trim work, and cleanup. We provide exact timelines during your consultation and guarantee them in your proposal.

Do I need to move my furniture before installation?

No — we handle furniture moving as part of our service. We carefully relocate furniture within or out of the installation area and return it to its original position upon completion.

Important notes:

• We ask that you remove small, fragile, and valuable items (electronics, collectibles, breakables) before installation day

• We cannot disconnect or move appliances that require plumbing or gas connections — please arrange for a licensed technician if those need to be moved

• Large items like pianos or gun safes may require specialty movers

Will installation be messy or disruptive?

We go to extreme lengths to minimize disruption:

• Dust containment: We use plastic barriers, zip walls, and HEPA-filtered air scrubbers to contain dust during demolition and installation

• Home protection: Shoe covers, drop cloths, corner guards, and furniture coverings are standard on every project

• Daily cleanup: We clean our workspace at the end of every workday

• Final cleanup: Upon completion, we remove all debris, vacuum, and leave your home spotless

Many clients choose to stay in their homes during installation with minimal inconvenience.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. Every Carpet Uno installation is performed by our own trained, certified, and insured installation team of 20+ professionals. We never subcontract our work. This ensures consistent quality, accountability, and the standard of care our clients expect.

This was one of the founding principles when Salim started Carpet Uno — complete control over every aspect of the installation to guarantee the quality we promise.

Can I stay in my home during installation?

In most cases, yes. We work room by room and keep our workspace contained and clean. You'll still have access to your kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms during the process (we coordinate with you to plan the installation sequence). For very large projects or whole-home installations involving significant demolition, we may recommend making arrangements for 1-2 days of the most intensive work. We'll discuss this during your consultation.

What happens to my old flooring?

We handle complete removal and disposal of your existing flooring — carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate, or vinyl. All materials are removed, bagged, and hauled away. You don't need to worry about a thing. Removal costs are included in your proposal as a separate line item, so there are no surprises.

WARRANTIES & GUARANTEES

What warranties do you offer?

You're protected by two layers of warranty:

Manufacturer Material Warranty — Each product we install comes with the manufacturer's warranty covering material defects, wear, and performance. Coverage varies by product but typically ranges from 15 years to lifetime.

Carpet Uno Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty — We guarantee our installation workmanship for the lifetime of the floor. If our installation ever fails — seams separate, planks shift, tiles crack due to our work — we repair or replace it at absolutely no cost to you. No time limit. No fine print. No excuses.

What does your lifetime craftsmanship warranty actually cover?

Our warranty covers any failure directly related to our installation workmanship, including:

• Plank separation, buckling, or shifting due to improper installation

• Carpet seam failure or stretching due to installation error

• Tile cracking, loosening, or grout failure due to installation deficiencies

• Transition strip failure

• Squeaks or hollow spots caused by subfloor prep issues on our part

What's NOT covered:

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage from misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

• Water damage from flooding or plumbing failures

• Pet damage or chemical spills

• Material defects (covered under manufacturer warranty)

• Movement or settling of the home's structure

If you're ever unsure whether an issue falls under our warranty, just call us. We'll come inspect it, and if it's our responsibility, we'll fix it. Simple as that.

What's your satisfaction guarantee?

If anything isn't perfect during your final walkthrough, we address it immediately — before we leave. If an issue arises after we've completed the project, call us and we'll schedule a visit to make it right. Across 1,200+ completed projects, we've never had a client we couldn't satisfy — and we intend to keep it that way.

SCHEDULING & LOGISTICS

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend scheduling your consultation at least 2–4 weeks before your desired installation date. CARE & MAINTENANCE

How do I maintain my new hardwood floors?

Proper maintenance will keep your hardwood looking beautiful for decades:

• Sweep or vacuum regularly (use hard-floor setting — no beater bar)

• Damp mop with a hardwood-specific cleaner (we'll recommend our preferred products)

• Wipe up spills immediately

• Use felt pads under all furniture legs

• Place mats at exterior doorways to catch grit and moisture

• Avoid wet mopping, steam cleaners, or harsh chemicals

• Maintain consistent indoor humidity (35-55% is ideal)

• Consider professional refinishing every 7-10 years for solid hardwood

We provide a detailed care guide specific to your flooring type upon completion of every projec

How do I care for LVP flooring?

LVP is one of the lowest-maintenance flooring options available:

• Sweep, vacuum, or dry mop regularly

• Damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner as needed

• Wipe up spills when convenient (no rush — it's waterproof)

• Use felt pads under furniture to prevent indentation

• Avoid dragging heavy furniture or appliances across the surface

• No waxing, polishing, or special treatments needed

How do I maintain carpet?

To keep your premium carpet looking and feeling its best:

• Vacuum at least twice per week (more in high-traffic areas)

• Address spills and stains immediately with a manufacturer-recommended spot cleaner

• Schedule professional deep cleaning every 12-18 months

• Use doormats at entrances to minimize tracked-in dirt

• Rearrange furniture periodically to prevent permanent indentation

• Consider applying a professional stain-protection treatment

Both options allow you to invest in premium flooring today and spread payments over a comfortable timeline. Qualification is based on a quick credit check, and our team will walk you through the process during your consultation.
